چکیده

We analyzed the transverse momentum spectra (pT) reported by NA61/SHINE and NA49 experiments in inelastic proton–proton (pp) central Lead–Lead (Pb?Pb), Argon–Scandium (Ar?Sc), Beryllium–Beryllium (Be?Be) collisions with Blast-wave model Boltzmann–Gibbs (BWBG) statistics. The BGBW was good agreement experimental data. were able to extract flow velocity (?T), kinetic freeze-out temperature (T0), volume (V) from pT using model. Furthermore, we also obtained initial (Ti) mean (<pT>) alternative method. observed that T0 increases increasing collision energy cross-section, representing colliding system’s size. remain invariant energy, while it showed a random change different cross-sections. Massive Constituent Quarks and Unified Description of Freeze-out Parameters: Does Qgp Form at Low Energies?

The possibility of unified description of hadron multiple production in heavy ion collisions over the wide energy interval, from few hundreds MeV/n at GSI/SIS through 11 GeV/n at BNL/AGS up to 160 GeV/n at CERN/SPS, has been emphasized recently by J. Cleymans and K. Redlich (CR) [1]. They, and somewhat later B. Muller and J. Rafelski [2], treated this fact as an indication that quark-gluon plas...

Remarks on the extraction of freeze-out parameters

Collisions of elementary particles, hadrons, and nuclei at ultrarelativistic energies produce a multitude of particles (“multiparticle production”). Final-state interactions between the produced particles determine the dynamical evolution of the system. In ee and hadron-hadron collisions only few particles are produced, and it is unlikely that many final-state interactions occur. The particles ...

Excitation energies, photoionization cross sections, and asymmetry parameters of the methyl and silyl radicals.

Vertical excitation energies of the methyl and silyl radicals were inferred from ab initio electron propagator calculations on the electron affinities of CH3(+) and SiH3(+). Photoionization cross sections and angular distribution of photoelectrons for the outermost orbitals of both CH3 and SiH3 radicals have been obtained with the Molecular Quantum Defect Orbital method. The individual ionizati...

Fusion cross sections at deep subbarrier energies

A recent publication reports that heavy-ion fusion cross sections at extreme subbarrier energies show a continuous change of their logarithmic slope with decreasing energy, resulting in a much steeper excitation function compared with theoretical predictions. We show that the energy dependence of this slope is partly due to the asymmetric shape of the Coulomb barrier, that is its deviation from...

Freeze-out parameters: lattice meets experiment.

We present our results for ratios of higher order fluctuations of electric charge as functions of the temperature. These results are obtained in a system of 2+1 quark flavors at physical quark masses and continuum extrapolated. We compare them to preliminary data on higher order moments of the net electric charge distribution from the STAR collaboration. This allows us to determine the freeze-o...
